A 25-year-old woman presented with an episode of atrial fibrillation. She had fixed splitting of 52 and a II/VI systolic ejection murmur noted at the left upper sternal border.

An echocardiogram was performed, which showed that the right atrium was moderately enlarged with evidence of a sinus venosus atrial septal defect.
