Hypertension has a prevalence of 29.8% in India, out of which 5-10% of cases are of endocrine hypertension. Primary hyperaldosteronism is sometimes associated with hypokalemia and is difficult to manage. Its early identification and treatment may significantly help in reducing associated morbidity and mortality. Osteoporosis is also known as a silent disorder, where most of the patients remain undiagnosed and untreated, leading to fragility fractures. This demands a more systematic approach towards its screening and management for improving the quality of life of patients.
