Case presentation A 45-year-old woman reported a sudden onset of pain in the little finger of her right hand, without particular causative triggers. Subsequently, bruising appeared on the same finger, the right thumb and thenar eminence, along with edema and discoloration. Patient history No relevant past medical history.
No history of recent trauma or physical exertion. No history of exposure to sudden changes in temperature. Clinical examination Subcutaneous hematoma and swelling along with normal capillary refill. No difference in blood pressure between the two upper limbs. Allen test showed normal patency of vessels.
