Synopsis The present study is a randomized, parallel assignment trial conducted to analyze the relation of food timings with the biological clock. The researchers compared the effect of a common hypocaloric diet with that of a chronotype diet on patients with obesity. The patients following the chronotype diet achieved a significant reduction in body weight, fat mass, and waist circumference compared to those on a hypocaloric diet.
