The reported death by suicide of a 42-year-old doctor at Neuron Hospital, Nagpur, has deeply saddened the Indian medical community. The doctor had reportedly arrived for duty around 5 AM and was found unresponsive inside his cabin several hours later after hospital staff raised concerns when he did not respond to repeated calls. Police later found him unconscious and slumped in his chair after opening the cabin. According to the autopsy report, the doctor died due to an overdose of anesthetic drugs .
