There has been significant interest in the integration of internet of things (IOT) and healthcare both in academic and the corporate world. This can be seen from the fact by the number of conferences held and a number of special issues in journals that have been published. To establish further in this domain, the purpose of this research is two-fold. First, it does the literature review in healthcare and IOT from 151 papers published from 1998 to 2016.
Second, it summarises findings from a literature review in two parts. In the first part, it identifies the antecedents that impact both affordable quality healthcare and developing an enterprise network for IoT.
