Case presentation An 18-year-old female presented with “a touchable lump on the right side of thyroid isthmus.” She reported a history of Congenital heart disease, whereas no history of thyroid disease was found in her family. Physical examination : The bilateral thyroid was slightly swollen. A hard lump (20 × 10mm) could be touched on the thyroid isthmus and moves on swallowing. No vascular murmur could be heard.
CT scan : Multiple nodular shadows of lower density could be observed in the thyroid, and some were calcified with a larger one located in the isthmus (17 × 10 mm).
