National Epilepsy Day was celebrated on 17th November 2018, Saturday across the country. Free epilepsy detection and treatment camps were being organised in many parts of the country with the support of Epilepsy Foundation India and National Health Mission. Various academic workshops and training are also conducted by the foundation where hands-on training on diagnosis and management of epilepsy is given by various doctors and surgeons. One month prior to the National Epilepsy Day, ‘ World Congress on Epilepsy and Neuronal Synchronization ’ was held from October 15-16, 2018 in London which presented the latest scientific improvements in the treatment of epilepsy.
