( Before reading further, please stay focused on the fact that the article is more about LDL-C reduction, not so much about statins alone ) Bottom line message: There is further risk reduction  (approximately 20% ) for cardiovascular events by reducing LDL-C from 63 mg/dL to 21 mg/dL with "no observed off-setting adverse effects". This analysis can certainly be revolutionary ... if the results actually get validated ...
