This case study reports symmetrical peripheral gangrene (SPG) that required amputation of fingers and toes post administration of vasopressors in the context of a septic shock. Case presentation: A 46-year-old woman was admitted to the intensive care unit with a surgical wound infection evolving into a septic shock. Medical history: Uterine fibroids post elective hysterectomy Physical examinations: Multiorgan failure during admission Abdominal compartment syndrome and disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) Hemodynamic instability Biochemical examination: Lactate was 6.6 mmol/L on day one-two ##Day three ICU## The patient underwent surgery due to suspected abdominal syndrome.
