Generally, in the emergency department, the migraine patients are prescribed to consume dopamine receptor antagonists to provide relief during the attack . However, the relation between the dopamine sensitivity and the migraine attack in vivo is not yet established. This article reports the observations made in the study which determined the levels of dopamine during the migraine attack. A migraine has an estimated prevalence of 14.7%.
