Case Scenario: A 14-year-old girl presented to the orthopedic department with a complaint of neck stiffness. She had a history of a fall. Her mother revealed that the girl was born with normal vaginal delivery and had a healthy neonatal period. However, there was a delay in achieving the developmental milestones, and she had a poor understanding of things compared to her siblings.
Physical examination revealed shortness in the neck, low posterior hairline, tilting of the head on the left side, and restricted neck movement. The absence of tenderness of the cervical spine was marked; however, mild elevation of the left scapula was noted. On CT scan investigation of the cervical spine, malalignment of the cervical spine with levoscoliosis centered on C6-C7 was observed.
