The Abu Dhabi Department of Health (DoH) has released the Abu Dhabi Healthcare Information Security Strategy. This strategy will serve as a framework for defining key concepts that will guide the DoH’s complete approach to enhance the healthcare sector's ability to secure and effectively mitigate cyber threats. The DoH is the first organization in the region to adopt a healthcare strategy of this nature.
The approach to designing this plan is to focus on cybersecurity, which entails implementing several processes and proactive measures to limit risks and assure complete readiness to respond to any digital threats or attacks effectively and safely.
