A) 12 year age boy -- vegetarian, of normal height/ weight/ temperature/ blood pressure/ normal to above average IQ/ normal sleep pattern/ residing in non-polluted environment -- is shown to have :- 1) Acid- peptic gastritis and 2) Bronchial Asthma -- more severe during 15 March-25 April and 15 Oct. - 30 Nov. for the last 6 years.
B) Treatment of Acid peptic gastritis worsens Bronchial Asthma ; treatment of Bronchial Asthma worsens Acid peptic gastritis . Advise how to treat this boy apart from general measures - which drugs to use ? Additional Information : first episode of Br Asthma occurred during 2nd week of PPI administration; a second challenge with PPI (because of lack of information given to treating Paedriatician) one year later again precipitated Br Asthma.
