As every Harry Potter enthusiast, I was mesmerized by JK Rowling's imaginary magical world. Suddenly it struck me that a lot of similarities exist between the Hogwarts' School of Magic and the Medical Colleges where we graduated.
As in the course of Medicine, the courses are long and after graudation we call ourselves doctors ( witches and wizards) as opposed to non-doctors who are called laymen (muggles?)....And most of us specailize and I will try and enumerate some similarities in the subjects: Astronomy.................................................Anatomy Dark Arts ..................................................Pathology Defence Against the Dark Arts.....................Medicine Herbology..................................................Pharmacology Potions.....................................................Therapeutics…
