An eight-year-old girl with complaints of dystrophy of nails for the past one year started with thumbnail and slowly spread to all her 20 nails. Currently managed on fluocinolone acetonide 0.025% lotion for the past one year, which is keeping the dystrophy under control. The mother is concerned about long-term steroid use. Her Vitamin D levels are low and was treated for it. There is no family history of psoriasis.
There is family history of atopy. Diagnosed as 20 nail dystrophy. Is there any other treatment options?
