Case presentation A premature infant born to a multiparous mother showed persistent anemia post-delivery and other prematurity-associated comorbidities. Patient history The infant’s mother required multiple percutaneous umbilical blood sampling (PUBS) during pregnancy due to fetal anemia. Immune-mediated causes for fetal anemia were found negative.
