There is a hue and cry from all quarters that the medical profession is no longer “the noble profession”. It was but has become a business. People accuse doctors of malpractices, exaggerated expenses, unnecessary operations and of even stealing organs from patients for transplantation. The Supreme Court decision to include doctors under the CPA (Consumer Protection Act) amply confirms the general feeling.
