Andhra Pradesh in principle has announced to setup a ‘medical devices manufacturing park’. The park will spread over an area of 200 acres. It is suggested that this park will boost medical device manufacturing and eventually will reduce the prices in India. Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh has announced a setting up of the medical devices manufacturing hub in his state to boost medical devices manufacturing. The park will be developed on 200 acres of land dedicated for this purpose. The announcement regarding this decision was recently made in Delhi where senior government officials, representatives of Indian medical device industry were also present.
