i am an orthpaedician myself and as an occupational hazard while working in ot i developed pivd l5 S1(annular tear)in year 2007 when i was 37 Yrs old. i am also on life long anticoagulation for idiopathic pulmonary thromboembolism since 2007 march. my problem is recurrence of tear almost every second year. With neuropathic pains. No deficit.
mri shows a tear with minimal compression. kindly suggest. As due to pain i am gradually loosing my muscle power and strength. after start of warfarin, my muscles are also becoming a bit shortened probably due go microbleeds and also due to pain
