A 64-year-old female patient referred to me as a case of RHD severe normal LV function with 70% Mid LAD stenosis. She was having H/o chest pain on off. She underwent echocardiography and coronary angiogram apart from the routine blood test. Coronary angiogram showed mid LAD 70% lesion. Cx and RCA were normal.
Echo showed severe calcific AS aortic annulus measuring 16 mm and normal LV function she underwent aortic valve replacement with aortic root enlargement with CABG. We have used 19 Sized st jude metallic valve. No post operation morbidity. Moist op echo showed single digit gradient across aortic valve no paravalvular leak. Normal LV function.
