Ever since I was awarded a fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery & Ocular Oncology in National University Hospital, Singapore I have been constantly been asked -by friends, friends of friends, acquaintances and sometimes total strangers-  "How to go about the application process?"  Hence I thought that I should pen down this information in the form of an article so that many young ophthalmologists coming out of residency are benefited. This article is a result of personal experience as well as research that I have had to do before I joined the fellowship.
