46 years old female presented with history of dysmenorrhoea for past 5 years. Blood investigations were normal. Pelvic ultrasound showed endometriosis.Gynaecologist opinion was adenomyosis by transvaginal sonography. Pap smear was negative. She was started with ormeloxifen, responded well, pain free episodes, but bleeding increased. After 2 months, because of bleeding episodes, she was changed to ocp (overall G).
She took this ocp for six months and stopped herself because she was not able to tolerate withdrawal bleeding. Gynaecologist advised to take trapic MF for withdrawal bleeding. What would be the next management. Still pain and bleeding is severe during periods. What are the complications of adenomyosis?
