From 6 am to 6 pm the Indian Medical Association (IMA) called 12-hour nationwide strike on 28 July to protest against the anti-democratic and anti-poor National Medical Commission Bill, 2017. The day termed as a “Dhikkar Diwas”.
Non-emergency services including OPD will remain closed for 12 hours during the strike period. The critical service would be provided like emergencies, deliveries and in-patient care.
