Arthritis refers to a group of disorders affecting the joints, commonly presenting with pain, stiffness, deformities, and reduced range of motion. Of the various types, osteoarthritis (OA) is the most prevalent globally. It is a non-inflammatory, degenerative joint disease, in contrast to autoimmune arthritis such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and psoriatic arthritis.
