An Ayushman Bharat Fraud Recruitment Scam from Gurugram has been busted and Delhi Police has arrested all individuals, including several SBI account bearers, involved in the scam. The National Health Authority (NHA) has been monitoring any type of fraud in Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY and informed Delhi police as soon as the information of fake letters being circulated promising jobs in Ayushman Bharat was received. The fraudulent activity began with the publishing of advertisements, providing a contact number.
The interested individuals were asked to send their Bio-Data and other details to this number through Whatsapp/SMS. A fake appointment letter was then sent to these individuals on the professional letterhead that closely resembled NHA/PM-JAY letterhead with the respective logos/official stamps.
