Is there any role of "Radio & Chemo-embolisation" in Carcinoma of Prostate? I've 49yr/Male patient having "Advanced Metastatic stage Prostate malignancy" involving Perineural space and "Gleason score=7/10" on TRUS Prostate histopatho tissue biopsy report. He presented to me 1 month back with failed oral anticoagulation & LMWH for bilateral chronic extensive lower extremity DVT involving bilateral iliac veins and infra-renal IVC.

Also moderate backpains, persistent limb swelling, Calf tenderness & pre-venous gangrene changes in both legs. We are planning "Bilateral Orchidectomy & Testesteone Hormonal suppression therapy" with Urologist. But can we do "Plain prostatic arterial embolisation to reduce tumor volume and prevent further multinodal or distant metastases?
