2 month old girl came with history of bilateral parotid gland enlargements since 15 days. No fever or pain. Rapid increase in size. No trauma. TLC 10500 P65% USG colour doppler and MRI shows diffuse enlargement of both lobes of parotid gland with no vascular or lymphatic malformation or neoplasm. Parotid duct not dilated. ?
Mumps. The baby has capillary hemangiomas over lower lip, gingiva, tongue and skin over cheeks. Non tender parotid swellings no redness or local rise in temperature. No thrill bruit. Transillumination negative. ENT exam shows no inflammation or pus discharge around parotid duct openings.
