New biomarkers were identified that can help to predict the response of colorectal cancer treatment with cetuximab or 5-fluorouracil (5-FU). A large biobank (OncoTrack) with omics data comparing wild-type tumors and derived tumor model has been created, which can provide a resource for the advance understanding of CRC. Colorectal cancer (CRC) is characterized by its heterogeneous nature and can be classified into distinct molecular groups. However, the clinical utility of this classification is still not demonstrated.
