Private hospital was slapped a fine of Rs 48 lacs for medical negligence of giving oxygen to a premature baby more than prescribed limit. Normal oxygen limit is 21% but in this case was 30% leading to shrinking of retina causing blindness. Other doctor was consulted who told this case is untreatable.

Consumer court fined for this. Underwater divers and premature infants are more likely to suffer from oxygen toxicity. How to avoid such mishaps and what is your opinion on this case?
