A 9 years old boy. Known case of bone cyst (simple / aneurysmal / others). History of fracture right upper humerus after trauma 3 yrs back managed with plaster stabilization and treating doctor didn't commented on cyst. Again fracture 1 year back same area with trivial trauma diagnosed as bone cyst and managed with plaster. Old x rays also have a cyst. Prescribed calcium etc for 9 months.
Again fracture 3 days back same area with very minimal trauma. Now different doctors have different opinion. Whether it's simple bone cyst or aneurysmal bone cyst or anything else. Mostly are saying simple bone cyst requires curretage and bone grafting or only fixation. Some are saying it's no t simple bone cyst because it should get healed after 2 fractures why it's expanding slowly in size we should go for biopsy.
