Morning Glory Disc Syndrome, as they come from the enlarged discerning glory, is a congenital defect of the optic nerve that resembles a flower known as morning glory characterized by an enlarged funnel-shaped cavity of the optic disc. The point in the eye where the optic nerve fibres leave the retina disc is enlarged and has a white colour giving an appearance of a white pupil blood vessels are increased in number and curve as they come from the enlarged disc and have white center resulting in malformation similar to the petals of a flower.
