Blepharitis is a very common ocular disorder which I feel it gets underdiagnosed. We have anterior blepharitis and posterior blepharitis. Ant is due to seborrhea and staphylococcal infection, the post is due meoibonitis blephritis can be squale of trachoma and radiotherapy. Complications of blehritis are entropion ectropion lids and madrosis and ptyloss.

Madrosis is the loss of eye lashes and ptylosis is thickened lid margins. If one has dandruff or seborrhea this dandruff gets lodged along lid margins in line with eye lashes so the treatment  Clean lid margins with wet cotton to remove any dandruff present along lid margins  Rub an antiboitic eye ointment along lid margins Antidandruff shampo Artificial teras Antiboitic drops The treatment is a bit prologed as it takes time for cure.
