The lacrimal gland is located in outer ANT aspect of orbit in the fossa for lacrimal gland known as lacrimal fossa. It has 2 parts orbital and palpebral supplied by lacrimal nerve  superficial temporal neve and greater superficial petrosal. Signs of lac gland tumors are Facial asymmetry due to displacement of globe Diplopia Proptosis Ptosis Limited ocular motility Enlargement of lacrimal gland Epithelial lesions tend to develop in the orbital globe of the lacrimal gland and are principally unilateral.

Initial sign is usually inferior and lateral displacement of globe due o supratemporal location of lac gland in the ant aspect of orbit  dx is by ct scan orbits   Treatment options available are as follows: Radiotherapy Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Corticosteroids Prognosis is usually good.
