The vernal keratoconjunctivitis is popularly known as spring catarrh has corneal manifestations and these corneal manifestations are dystrophic entities. I saw a case of long-standing bilateral vernal keratoconjunctivitis who had corneal dystrophies both immediate and delayed immediately.

It was in the form of PET pseudo embryotoxon mimicking true arcus senilis and delayed dystrophic manifestations was in the form of marked myopic astigmatism of about 4d cylinder.
