Goldenhars Syndrome (GHS) is a congenital syndrome complex characterised by congenital limbal dermoid with the associated presence of a preauricular skin tag or appendage. One may also notice the presence of a squint or congenital coloboma of squint or anophthalmos. But it is very rare limbal dermoid. Commonest site inferotemporal is 70 percent prevalence 1 in 10 000 or 1 in 3 500 to 5 600. The male-female ratio is 3 is to 2.

Limbal dermoids are graded as grade i 2 and 3 according to corneal involvement. Most of the patients of GHS have normal vision and intelligence only 5 to 15 percent have additional congenital anomalies. reassurance to parents is important.
