A person was recently diagnosed to have schizophrenia. He's already on antipsychotics and there's improvement in his positive symptoms. Negative symptoms are predominant but now starting to get better. Some of us, his well wishers are providing him a good support. There is a family history of his mother having schizophrenia who later died of metastatic cancer. He has suffered a lot of adverse childhood events including childhood emotional neglect.
He's doing a regular office job and is currently independent. He's considering to get married. In your experience, can a person with Schizophrenia lead a normal post marital life? Kindly share, if there are any specific advice or suggestions.
