Implants used for various surgical procedures, mainly, heart and knee transplant are having MRP which is at times twice or thrice the real cost. This practice of highly exaggerated unrealistic MRP encourages a lot of malpractice at various levels.

If an implant is taxed at its MRP, it shall have realistic value and discourages lot of malpractice. Should the government not take any step in this matter?
