A 22 years old girl, came to me for proper diagnosis, as she was treated as a case of pneumonia at age of 7 year., then as BAsthma patient with inhalation,( steroids) salbutamol, and antibiotics of and on., without relief. She don't know what happened with her. She was told that she had half Lt lung in early childhood and that also vanished in due time to the course. Now she c/o dyspnoea, cough, weakness. Her X-rays of last year shows loss of total Lt lung.
Heart shifted to Lt side totally. MT NEGATIVE, ESR 50MM, CT scan of chest revealed destruction of the lt lung, 2-d echo of heart normal. The face of pt has saddle nose, big forehead. AFB sputum negative. The query is this a genetic disorder?
