Renal cell carcinoma is the most common type of kidney cancer in adults. In recent decades, innovative surgical and systemic strategies have led to a considerable progress in the management of renal cell carcinoma. This article describes the recent strategies to overcome therapeutic resistance in renal carcinoma patients. Renal cell cancer (RCC) is a highly prevalent and lethal disease. The standard treatment and care include nephrectomy with close postoperative monitoring.
