In an atrocious incident, daughter of one of the patients born after artificial insemination learnt that doctor himself was her biological father. Similarly, another girl (25) was diagnosed with a Celiac disease which was not found in either of her parents, and that’s when she became curious about her genetic background. She found out that over decades, the doctor had inseminated his patients with his own sperms . This Misconduct of the Doctor led to psychological and social damage to the victim and her family.
Prior to the above incidence, the doctor was disciplined by cancelling his licence for artificially inseminating three of his patients with wrong sperm samples. And now, the doctor is facing the lawsuit for 50-100 cases for using wrong sperms including 11 cases for using his own sperm for insemination.
