Medical Screening is a strategy for as-yet-unrecognized early signs, conditions, and risk factors of cancer or pre-cancerous disorders before any symptoms appear and may be treated easier avoiding morbidity and mortality. Medical Screening is the surveillance performed individually and population-based validate diagnostic and prognostic indicators, searching for a gene mutation, the presence of antibodies or extreme physiological values to uncover the expected disease or deformity. The three most common cancers in India are breast, uterine cervix and oral cavity, accounting for approximately 35% of all cancers and constitute a public health priority.
