As patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) are at high risk of cardiovascular (CV) and renal disease, determining the CV and renal safety of anti-diabetic therapies is of paramount importance (1,2). In this regard, sodium glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors have been developed as a novel option for diabetic patients (3). Dapagliflozin, an SGLT2 inhibitor has been recently demonstrated to exhibit CV and renal benefits in T2DM patients by DECLARE-TIMI 58 trial (1). AstraZeneca and Docplexus have organized an interactive Webinar on 25 th January 2019 at 2.00 pm . In this webinar session, Prof.

(Dr.) Saumitra Ray  will discuss Heart failure and Diabetes , and Dr. Samit Ghosal will talk about the DECLARE CVOT and its clinical implication in T2DM management. We invite you to submit your questions which will be answered by the speakers at the end of the session. References 1.…
