Traditionally, doctors have been taught to be unemotional and objective, and not to display their feelings. The concern is that if you allow your emotions to get the upperhand brain, you will not be able to make the right medical decisions for your patient. However, I feel that doctors are human, and when our patients die , we do get upset.

I think it's perfectly acceptable to let our patients know that we are grieving by crying openly. Do you agree ? Or is this a sign of weakness ?
