Is it viral sepsis? A 30-year-old woman comes to OPD with fever/weakness/loose motions/breathlessness 3 days before. CXR showed haziness in the right lower lobe. H1N1 awaited. Her sats are 95% off O2. Repeat CXR is better except for bronchial prominence. Got admitted her today (as was not willing).
She still complaining of epigastric pain and breathlessness. HAd already started on piperacillin/tazobactam + oseltamivir. But tachycardia is continuous around 100 or above. Body temperature spikes are twice a day 101. Will it be worth starting steroids for her? What should be the treatment in this case?
