A four-and-half-year-old child was suffering from cerebral malaria. He was admitted to the hospital and a life-saving injection was provided. The child was regrettably found to be dead; the parents filed a case against the treating doctor.

According to the paediatrician, life-saving injectable doses given by the doctor were safe and according to the treatment protocol.
