A 58-year-old male visited the dental office for routine check-up. The examination revealed a non-healing ulcer in the lower lip. The patient claimed the presence of ulcer for almost six months or longer. He didn’t notice any pain or discomfort in the area. History- He spends many hours outdoors without sun block. He doesn’t smoke or drink alcohol. There is no history of trauma to the area.

He had a history of regular dental check-ups and during the appointments he was not taking any medications. Examination: Physical examination of the head and neck region was normal. Vital signs within normal limits. No palpable lymph nodes detected. Ulcerative lesion of the vermilion of the lower lip measuring 1cm in diameter.
