A 30 year male was having infertility even after six years of marriage. He was diagnosed as a case of UTI and treated by the urologist  before marriage and before consulting me. When I examined his urine results, it was positive for infection. His semen culture also showed infection. After treating him for both the infections with antibiotics , Intra uterine insemination planned. Unfortunately the sample collected was full of pus cells and have aborted the IUI at the last moment.

Then a prolonged treatment for infection was started with a view that the infection was possibly from prostate because of the high quantity of pus cells noted in the semen. No rectal massage attempted since it was easy to get semen and was  with full of pus cells. USG abdomen was done and residual urine of high quantity noted.
