A 39-year-old man has been arrested in Pune for allegedly practicing medicine without a recognized medical qualification, including examining patients, prescribing and selling medicines, and administering injections. According to police, the accused had been living in Ravet (Pune) for around two years and allegedly operated an informal clinic that primarily catered to labourers in the area. He had previously worked as a labourer before allegedly beginning to provide treatment to fellow workers and other local residents.

Police received information about a person allegedly practicing medicine without the required qualifications and reached the area near Shreenath Hospital at Pandhare Vasti, Punawale, at around 12:10 am on August 16.
