It is a welcome step that MCI and its branches are giving accreditation in points for CME activities like conferences etc. I think if the organizers of the activities seek accreditation from other international  bodies like  BMJ learning etc, it would be helpful to those outside India and get more participation from overseas making our conferences and CME activities of international standard ( not that they are not so ) and recognized all over.
